Nancy Jane Smith, Licensed Professional Counselor

Branding Clarity ~ Nancy is a passionate, thoughtful, business-minded counselor. As such, she knows that she will do her best work and have the most meaningful impact when she works from her greatest strengths. When Nancy came to us to discuss Branding Clarity, she knew quite well how she wanted to spend her work time; she wanted to facilitate intentional living with her clients. What she needed was specific language to apply directly to her business marketing efforts that invited contact from clients who were most interested in this conscious approach to life. We spent about two hours together honing her messages. Nancy made some relatively minor but powerful changes to her website and marketing materials (and some major changes to the way she was thinking about her business) and almost immediately she began to draw her dream clients to her door. Copywriting ~We wrote virtually everything on the Maya Moon Designs website, including the handbag descriptions (which were an amazing amount of fun to write!) Here's Maya's feedback on working with Michelle:

Workshops, Consulting, Coaching ~ Our first interaction with Jessica from Tumbleweed Bead Company was in The Eloquent Entrepreneur workshop series. While you can see by Jessica's beautiful handcrafted jewelry designs that she is a talented creative person, she is also an exceptional businesswoman. Jessica has stratetically invested time, energy and money in her business to maximize the growth potential of Tumbleweed Bead Company, while maintaining the high-quality, handcrafted nature of her designs. Jessica used The Eloquent Entrepreneur workshop series to hone her own messaging around her business, get a very clear sense of her own language style and get acquainted with high-exposure communication techniques for opportunities such as expert interviews and expert presentations in the community. Serendipitously (or not?), soon after, Jessica was contacted for an interview in a respected, well-circulated national publication and we coached her through using her most authentic powerful voice in that interview.

Because Jessica gets it that even gorgeous handcrafted jewelry design has to be seen and heard about so potential customers know how much they must have it, Jessica also attended The Eloquent Entrepreneur: Marketing Forum workshop series where she brainstormed new ideas with other entrepreneurs to reach potential clients in creative and cost-effective ways.

I first met Michelle when I took her Eloquent Entrepreneur workshop.  I was very impressed with the content.  We worked on our businesses, but just as importantly we worked on ourselves.  What is our role in our business and our businesses role in our lives.  Then how do we communicate what we do to others, whether they are friends or potential clients.  We practiced public speaking and interviewing. 

I work for myself.  Most of the time that I work, I am working by myself.  Michelle's workshops give me the opportunity to get out of my studio and meet other women that are in similar positions as myself.  I now sign up for any of Michelle's workshops that I can get to.  When they are finished I return to work with new inspiration and wonderful ideas for improvement. Michelle has also helped me with interviews and writing.
